Fishing on the Danube and Drava rivers

Most fishing activities happen in the triangle where drava goes downstream from Osijek, and the Danube upstream from Aljmaš till Petruški canal. All on the right bank of the river Danube. The only option is fishing from the fishing boat. Fish diversity is huge, catfish, pike, carp and perch. Fishing is done with artificial and live bait, prepaired cereals, and many types of worms. Technique is catch and release, which is fair and sportslike considering a limited fishing area, and the desire to save the fish.

Sports fishing is very diverse in the countries from where our guests come from (Canada, SAD, Europe) and smaller number of guests have practiacl experience, as they are passionate about fishing. They own smaller or bigger boats, and use weekends for fisihing. This has motivated us to design, plan and prepare for a half-day trip, on the Danube and Drava rivers.

In 7 hours excursion, we have included transfer to the fishing area, boat with the guide, fishing equipment, baits, and at least 4 hours reserved for fishing. Limited time? Depending on the wheather conditions, water levels and the fish as well, is enough for a quallity even superb fishing catch, and an unforgetable experience.

Important part of fishing experience is lunch prepaired on open fire (fish stew, carp on forks, baked fish) combined with white wine from this area completes an interesting excursion.
